Based on a single, rugged, new-concept requirement from Arctic Trucks Polar, Arctic Trucks in Iceland designed and built a trailer for use in the high latitudes to give the AT38/44 vehicles the vital extra capacity needed on longer expeditions. The result is a super-tough, high-load-capacity trailer which uses many parts that are incorporated on the towing vehicle and ensure spares commonality - for example shock absorbers, tyres/wheels and all ancillary components. The trailers are customisable for both 38 and 44 inch tyre sizes and track-configured so the trailer runs precisely in the towing vehicle’s tracks.
